What is a dampener and what does it do?
A dampener sits between your racket strings to absorb some of the vibration and shock that comes from ball impact, softening the feel and sound with each hit. Racket Pets dampeners do double duty by also giving your racket a fun, personalized design.
How do I install the overgrip and dampener?
The dampener threads between two string sections near the bottom of the racket head, no tools needed. The overgrip wraps around your existing grip starting at the base of the handle and spiraling up, securing with the adhesive strip at the end.
Will the dampener fit any racket?
Yes, Racket Pets dampeners are designed to fit standard racket string patterns.
Ball Tote specific questions
What ball capacity does the Ball Tote hold?
It holds approximately 150 tennis balls or 100 pickleballs.
Is it compatible with ball cart frames from other brands?
Yes, it's designed to work as a replacement bag on other brand name ball cart frames.
What's the difference between the four color options?
The four colors — red, orange, green, and classic black — match USTA Net Generation ball colors, so instructors can stay organized across different lesson groups.
